Finding 1 - Protruding Wire Fence and Metal Structures
First finding! During my jog around Woodlands Avenue 9, some wire fences and metal poles that were protruding out on the walkway scratched my legs. I could not see the wire fences and metal poles as it was around evening and it made me realize that someone else could have sustained a much serious injury if they were careless. I took pictures of the area and screenshotted the google images of the area found on the internet. These images were then sent in an email to the Sembawang Town Council and I prompted them to repair the area. Sembawang Town Council replied to my email and forwarded the case to Singapore Land Authority (SLA) as the land occupied by the wire fence and metal structures are under state land which falls under SLA's purview. Subsequently, SLA forwarded the email to Jurong Town Corporation (JTC) and a JTC officer contacted me and updated the date of the reparation works.
